it will not work finding the gps satellite location and can not use acer cromebook to help fined a satellite ,it is not compatible with that computer,will not buy another one!

In May 2015, we toured from Paris, thru Switzerland and on to Italy with this nav. It was 100% accurate the ENTIRE way. Even thru small streets and wicked turns. I was actually shocked how awesome it worked. We were never lost for even a minute. It also works perfectly on my biz trips to Montreal, Canada. Highly recommend for international use!

I love this thing!! My husband says I can get lost in a phone booth! WELL NO MORE!! I made it over an hour away today in a new city and had no trouble at all! It is EASY to use and small enough that it does not get in the way!! I just have to remember to lock my car so no one steals it! Best early mother's day gift ever!!

This is a pretty neat Tom Tom. After all, I am just an old cuntry boy, AKA "Old Fart", and do not look for many bells and whistles in a product. Just for it to get me from point A to point B, beyond and back home. This Tom Tom will take you way out in the country and other places before going to the location you want it to go but it will get you there. Guess I do need to keep the old handy dandy Map in my vehicle to map the way as well as use this thing. It does show where places to eat and gas stations. Its a nice product and works very well especially in heavy traffic, hearing the voice is very helpful in assisting me to get over before I get too close to my turn and cannot. Anything that is man made has flaws so with that said, So far this is a pretty good product in which the good outweighs the bad.

I bought this device to use for a planned trip to Italy. The product was simple to use and worked straight out of the box. I had read about some of the problems others had encountered with downloading the updated maps but I followed the instructions and used Google chrome rather than IE. The map update took about 3 hours for me but my line is a little slow. It all loaded correctly without any problems. I have just used it all around Italy and France without any problems. It is easy to use and good value for money.

I purchased one of these and it was faulty. Or at least, after going on forums for hours I couldn't get it to work. I returned it the same day to Amazon and ordered a replacement. As usual Amazon were fantastic and my replacement was with me next day (ordered express delivery). This one loaded up and worked immediately. I tried it out locally for a day before heading off to Italy two days later where I hired a car at Milan airport. The TOM TOM was superb, getting me out of the airport and on the road to my destination, Lake Maggiore without problem. About half-way, the clutch started to burn out on my hire car so we entered the nearest hire company destination and TOM TOM took me through the back streets of Varese to the hire place and the car was replaced. For the next two weeks we drove all around Lombardia and up into Switzerland and the TOM TOM was absolutely fantastic. Can't praise it enough. Easy to use, easy to understand the very English pronunciations of Italian roads and towns. And it saved me a hell of a lot of hassle replacing the car. If you are thinking of getting one...... do it.
