S.G.: We bought the 3 blade fan in 2019. It is still running. We placed it on top of our wood stove, which is the primary source of heat in our house, so it runs pretty much all the time during the long Vermont winter. Sometimes it starts making a knocking sound, but it gets better after cleaning off the accumulated dust and lubricating the spindle. I use graphite, and my husband uses 3-in-1 oil to lubricate it. It doesn't blow a lot of air, but it does help move some heated air horizontally.

CLCL: I bought this fan to try a trick I saw online where I guy place it on top of a portable Mr. Heater and to my surprise it does work.

I normally use the heather while camping to warm up my tent. To make this fan more stable on top of the heater I had to make a cut on the front to allow the fan get through the grill; beside that, it works as intended and it truly did make a difference on getting a larger area warmer.

Jason Haas: Price is good, but it is rather light duty compared to others I’ve had. These fans are rather useless for moving air so I couldn’t justify buying an expensive one when a cheap one does the same thing.

Wondering: SO what I like is the fan for half the price of anywhere else, and that after the fall, I now know that its a good fan.

What I don't like: 2 days after I ordered it, it was on sale for 10.00 less. I emailed both the seller and Amazon, even offerred to buy a second fan if they'd credit me the difference to the sale price. No reply from either one. It's been more than a month. No one cares. Or it's all so poorly managed thjat they don't even know. Not the first time either. Used to be Amazon was not only on the Ball, but all OVER it. No it's just like every other apathetic online seller. And about your headline box, If you want 100 characters then limit the data entry to 100 characters. Don't let me write a whole paragraph, then tell me to edit it to a sentence. My time has value!

Ron: For the contour of the fan blades, this fan run backwards, I had to re-shape the fan blades and, drill out the center and mount it in reverse of what it was. It runs slow but, if it is running it has to move air. I have an old-style gas heater, so it is on for a while then off so, it never gets really hot for long. I think this would work well with a wood stove that gets hotter. Don't know what to think about the fan running backwards.

ISLANDER1089: I have watched these fans for years since installing my wood stove but always thought they were too expensive. Now that the price has dropped by about 75% I decided to buy one. It works amazingly well except for one thing............it doesn't blow at all. With a hot fire it spins at a high rate but you can't even feel the slightest breeze from the tiny fan. It's just an interesting novelty item with no true benefit other than it's cool to watch.

Amazon Customer: Bought this in October of 2021 for use in a converted school bus with a wood stove as the primary winter heating source. Overall, it has worked well and is still working over a year later, even after falling off the stove recently on accident when we were also using the stove to cook. My only complaint (that began a few months into using it) is that it makes a bit of a clonking noise sometimes. It's hard to tell how well it actually distributes heat, since our bus is not very well-insulated, so it's always a lot cooler farther away from the stove, but I believe that it helps at least somewhat!

Cheryl K.: I ordered 2 fans for my parents who prefer to heat with their wood burning fireplace. Since their fireplace insert doesn't have a built in fan they were losing a lot of heat up the chimney. They tell me the fans work great! There was a noticeable difference in the amount of heat they are getting from the fireplace making it much more efficient. They also commented about how quiet they are and don't require any hydro to run is a bonus! They highly recommend them.
I also want to mention that BNI delivered the items for Amazon. I've ordered quite a bit through Amazon and had never heard of this delivery service, so I didn't know what to expect. The package shipped Feb 02 with an expected delivery date of Sunday Feb 07. I was kinda skeptical about this delivery date because my parents live in a remote area in the Parry Sound region. I was surprised when I checked the tracking on Saturday Feb 06 and it said it was out for delivery from Bracebridge Ontario. I had been talking to my parents and they were getting some really nasty weather (another foot of snow over Friday night). Amazingly, their package was delivered Saturday afternoon!
