Bob Bishop: When Tom Clancy started writing Jack Ryan novels he had no idea what they would turn in to. Don Bentley puts so much action and so many cool characters into this Jack Ryan Jr. Novel that Clancy would stay up all night reading it. Amazing novel. The best of the Jack Ryan Jr. Novels. Bentley is awesome

Don in Tennessee: A big part of the Tom Clancy books are the characters. The Ryan’s are well defined. By changing Jr into a brawler who is constantly in a fight you change the personality of the books. The Ryan’s fight with their brains.
Not a bad story, but not Tom Clancy worthy.

Mfransayers: I liked the interaction between combatants. But i found the technical descriptions of too many weapons long and tedios. Overall this book was exciting if complicated but well worth reading.

Mike S: Good, fast read. Once again Jack saves the day & pulls through vs. the evil bad guys though seriously “beat up”. Some of the daring-do was a bit over the top & kind of “Super Duper Paratrooper”, but it also made the read fun. Recommend it to anyone that enjoys a good action read with AK’s, Hummers, SpecOps & Israeli kick ass warriors.

Michael Stapley: The person goes on and on about innocuous things that you've already read about.

Satchmo: At the end of the day this book turned out to be better than expected. From reading the reviews I was a bit apprehensive on buying this book. Yes it is a bit shorter than previous novels - looks full size but the writing on the page is larger than normal.
However I found the book an enjoyable read. Certainly better than some others with joint writers. Managed to read it in two days in my sickbed so definitely held my interest. Would read more from this co-author.

Mikio Miyaki: A Jack Ryan Jr. novel welcomes a new author, Don Bentley. “Target Acquired” is his first work for this series. Hearing Israel, readers may hold a faint hope of reunion with Ysabel Kashani. However, our expectation is excellently betrayed. Bentley weaves the story placing a Jack Jr.’s rescue operation as the warp and other relating incidents as the woof. Jack Jr. accidentally witnessed an attempted murder of a mother and her son in Tel Aviv. Later he found the mother being a scientist who invented a stealth technology, and Chinese plotted assassination of her. Noticing the son being autistic, Jack Jr. went into action to protect them. He was overlapping the son with his old classmate, whom he helped in his youth. What provoked him was his father’s words, sometimes a good man has to be willing to pay a price for doing what’s right. A F-35 pilot, Natalie, who stopped Iranian missile attack on Tel Aviv might have a similar feeling with him. Jack Jr.’s solo adventure, covering three countries in a single day, never allows you to breath.
The story begins with a Green Berets’ reconnaissance scene on the cult group in Syria. The cult leader conspires suicide bomb...

David Makya: „The slew of curses Jack let fly this time would have given his Marine father pause. He’d been crucified, drugged, shot with an RPG, and left for dead twice. His vehicle was on fire and a hornet’s nest of pissed-off jihadis were hosing down the BRDM with crew-served weapons. Undoubtedly some of the bravest of the bunch were chucking grenades at the vehicle’s open hatches.
All this and it was a vehicle-barrier that was going to stop him?
Not today.”
