Tana B.Tana B.: The media could not be loaded.  The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because of the false advertising regarding NFC capability from an Android phone. Maybe from a Chinese Android phone it works, but I tried every form of Wallet and NFC app I could find to no avail.

BUT, it works great to secure my built-in wine fridge from sneaky teenagers! My cooler does not have a lock so I screwed the main box into the top of the enclosure and drilled 2 holes into the fridge's door for the male component. I was lucky that there was JUST enough clearance from the top of the fridge to the ceiling of the enclosure. The RFID card easily communicates to the box through the granite countertop and thick plywood!

I am very satisfied with my result, though I will caution that it may take a bit of creativity to implement this lock, depending upon what/where you are installing it.

Shadoweyes89: An sich nicht schlecht. Leider knarrt die die Verriegelung schon nach den ersten mal testen.Auch ist bei mir das Notkabel,bzw. die AUX - USB Verbindung schon defekt gewesen. Mit elektrischen Kenntnissen war es zwar nicht schwer zu reparieren, sollte aber bei dem Preis nicht sein. Die Verriegelung selbst sieht nicht sehr robust aus, erfüllt aber für meine Zwecke alle Anforderungen.Wer auf mehr Sicherheit wert legt, sollte sich etwas anderes aussuchen.

Anonymous: I Like the lock. I intended to mount this on the bottom drawer of my nightstand, I didn’t even attempt to mount it on the top drawer. I also removed the top drawer so I could see what I was doing. I have a night stand with space over the top of the drawer, it’s not flush which is what this lock would be perfect for. So, I had to modify it a bit to make it work for me. First, I mounted the battery box on the inside of the drawer making sure to mount it as high as I could get it but still clear the horizontal drawer support beam that separates the top and bottom drawer so the drawer would still close. Second, I screw it in, single screw worked ok, it was braced against the side of the drawer. Third, I inserted the locking loop into the battery box so I could see where it was going to be mounted on the wood brace I was going to install to hold it. I used a 1x1 and cut an angle on both sides to sit flush on the side of the night stand and the front below the top drawer. With the drawer closed (and the locking loop in the battery box) I could see how far back the locking loop was going to have to be mounted on my wood support 1x1. I cut the angle for the side of the night stand...
