A-Tech: Make sure you have the locking bar on the inside of your cabinet that this lock would use. Also make sure to watch the YouTube vid on installing. The hardest part is taking the top drawer out if you have a lot of files.

J. R. Lee: Item includes parts to install/replace lock type HON F24. The included adapter plate also enables replacement of push-to-lock HON F26 type. However, I did not find any guidance on the latter application and had to figure it out on my own--it is a little bit tricky holding parts in position to install, but no additional parts are required and no modifications to parts included are required either. IMO, it is a good idea to replace push-to-lock HON F26 type with rotate-by-key HON 24 type as there's always a risk with push-to-lock type of locking the key inside the cabinet.
