Firstly, let me say that this LED light is amazing! With only 60 watts on a standard, medium screw-in base, it lights up your garage like daylight!
I hooked it up to my garage door opener, so it will turn on for five minutes each time I activate the garage door.
In order to hook up this light to my garage door opener, I used a simple extension socket that I purchased from amazon.com at amazon.com/gp/product/B087Z4QXBY
I draped the extension socket’s BX cable over the garage door opener track as shown in the photo.

The light output is blinding. Which is just what was asked of this product. My only disappointment is that it cant be used with a dimmer.
UPDATE: 3 months of extraordinary lighting then without any warning this bulb started blinking on and off rapidly.

I love this product, I actually saw it in a store, but due to the current pandemic I decided to go with Amazon. The price was the best and the lights have proven to really light up my big garage. LED lightening gives me the comfort of knowing they are cost effective and will last for an extended period. The lights can be configured to suit an individual’s needs.
Love these lights, no more construction grade fixtures especially the fluorescent tubes,

when I pulled it out of the box, I was like...NO WAy, barely 6 or 7 inches folded up...probably 15 inches across fully unfolded.
screwed it into a socket and it is bright.
I put it into a small table lamp, compact style and placed lamp shade over it..real nice.
Placed the other in basement ceiling light fixture and it lit up totally.
Will purchase another for my garage, which is where one of these were supposed to go.
..BOGUS!!! Just over a month or so IT FLICKERED, DULL AND STOPPED WORKING.
