I'm going to cut it down, so I'll sew some Velcro in the right place for it to secure as well.

It is lightweight and warm. It looks like it will keep the water out, too.

Sharon: We use this blanket for grandkids soccer and baseball games. It’s warm on one side and rainproof on the outside. And we’ve been rained on!
It will keep you warm and dried.
It also folds up pretty small and has a Velcro closure and handle for carrying. I recommend.

Mrbutcher: The outside (non fleeced side) is waterproof and windproof. The blanket seems to get very warm and quickly and retains your body heat. It is very cozy. I got it a bit oversized which is perfect to cover me fully when camping in my vehicle. I've yet to sest this blanket to see how cold you can go with it and stay warm but it fits my immediate needs as a quick, stowable blanket for my overlander vehicle.

It seems incredibly durable and I love that it rolls into itself with Velcro storage into itself.
