Tiggar Natural Tree Rubber Yoga Mat - Perfect for Your Yoga Practice

Lily: Using this mat is a joy. I got one after my husband got one bc I liked it so much! I like that it is natural and biodegradable being 100% rubber. I don't know about what it is dyed with (hope it's not toxic) I have been meaning to write to the manufacturer but haven't done it yet.

But it's grippy, it has cushion. It is NOT lightweight so keep that in mind if you walk far distances with your mat. The price point is very fair as a lot of natural yoga mats are around 100$ so this felt like a good deal. Hope you enjoy as much as me!

posh tischposh tisch: This mat is almost an exact match to my Manduka pro mat I’ve had for years. I can’t justify throwing down 100.00 for a mat now with prices of everything else having gone up so much like groceries ,utilities , ect…
I purchased the Tiggar yoga mat in Azalia and I’m happy with the quality and fair price and made in the US. The photos I took are a side by side of my new Tiggar mat and purple Manduka mat , it’s practically the same mat for half the price. Great find , thanks Tiggar for making a sustainable, quality, affordable product for us yogis. 🙏

Farman: This is a GREAT mat for the price. The rubber is nice, the smell is not bad at all. I recommend getting a cheap yoga towel to place over so your hands don't slip. It's heavy, and stays in place very well. It's not going to get banged up quickly, its durable. I wish it came with a strap.

Jordan smith: As someone who loves jade yoga mats I’ve been really hesitant on trying anything else. However my jade yoga mat is starting to crumble and I couldn’t afford to pay $100 right now. That being said, I really like this yoga mat. The thickness is perfect and the overall feel of it is nice. The rubbery smell isn’t pleasant but it’s to be expected and it’s dissipated with airing out the mat. I do wish it was wider but through my research this ended up being the mat that seemed like the best fit so I had to sacrifice the width. The mat is overal anti-slip but not 100%. It’s not jade yoga mat anti-slip but it’s still really good in my opinion. I am not a heavy sweater though so I cannot attest to weather or not sweating would cause slipping. This is a yoga mat I would buy again.

NancyA: It's worth noting that this mat is narrower than the other mats in the yoga room. Pay attention to dimensions and compare.
I'm really wild about the surface design: both the swirl of color and the subtle engraved texture. It honestly adds to the experience of my downward facing dog.
I live in a tiny place and have finally given in to the reality that I must unfurl the mat and let the off-gassing begin. After one night of doing so, the smell diminished considerably. Perhaps because the material is so dense, one is tempted to keep it nicely neatly rolled up as I did. Resist this temptation! It really needs to be aired out. After 2 or 3 nights of doing so, there is still that rubber smell. Not sure how long it will take to completely fade away. People have varying levels of sensitivity to such things.
