Amazon Customer: I'm about to go on my 3rd road trip with this storage unit and so far it's living up to the price. This is the third storage container I have tried for cross country trips and it provides the best gas mileage by far! The only reason I gave it four stars is because I have a small townhouse and I'm going to have to get creative about where to store it when I'm not using it.

Ken B: good price, fit well on my 2017 Nissan Rogue, worked EXCELLENT with crossbars that were after market and not THULE or Rogue, could not be happier with that part. Just put it on now, will rate again if any issues come up. For now, awesome and what we wanted, opening both sides great, our older one more cumbersome.

Si lo combinas con las maletas se hace una excelente opción, notamos que el agua penetro en el maletero porque lo que no es totalmente impermeable, recomiendo tener las maletas de lona de Thule para evitar que la ropa se moje. Sería mejor si se explicara su instalación en un vídeo por aquello de las dudas

JoeJoe: So when this came on a truck, I went outside to see if the delivery guy needed a hand. He said no, it was lite. He wasn't kidding. So you unbox this, pull it out and go oh boy. As a previous reviewer stated, it is very thin plastic as the top shell. Now I have a Thule carrier that's over 40 years old. If I dropped it off the top of my Chevy Traverse, nothing will happen. It's double wall construction like a hard cooler. This is more like one of those blue storage bins. Definitely try not to drop it. Not sure how the top will do.

So it's real simple to get up on the car for it being so lite. The old one is a two man job struggling. Once on your rails, you open the clips with the dial and grab your roof rail like a claw. Super easy to use. It also slides a little so you don't need to adjust your roof rails (some may have too depending). I had my rails to fit my old one which was bigger than this, so no adjustment needed.

Opening it is a bit tricky. The key doesn't go in as smooth as a normal key. Why, no idea. It has that big plastic knob which you turn to open it from either side. Opening is easy. Closing, just make sure you have it aligned correctly otherwise it...

Randall S.: Installation of the new 75' long Thule Force XL was relatively easy. Nice features were the sliding mounting brackets for the included clamps that fit perfectly and securely around our 2019 Subaru Ascents factory mounting crossbars. l mounted the box centered on the roof and as far back as possible to minimize windstream interference, or drag and induced turbulence, over the roof. With the Thule Force XL all the way back as far as possible, the rear lift gate still fully opens to within one inch of the box which itself easily opens from either side, a nice feature. Thule includes multiple cargo securing straps, another nice feature. I test drove our 2019 Ascent on a windless afternoon on a long flat stretch of expressway in very light traffic. I always monitor fuel mileage using the onboard digital fuel consumption monitor for both instant and average mpg. For this test the only occupant was the driver and no cargo, to compare mileage and handling, to our normal mpg with 1-3 passengers and a few shopping items. With the box mounted and the cruise activated on a very long, flat, stretch of low traffic expressway with no curves and at 80 degrees F with no wind, there was zero mpg...

Dennis Bamberg: Vor einigen Jahren haben wir uns eine No-Name-Dachbox zum Testen gekauft (bringt das was, nutzt man die Box entsprechend...).

Nachdem wir beim letzten Urlaub gemerkt haben - ja die Testbox hat sich nun „bezahlt“ gemacht und wir nutzen diese regelmäßig - haben wir uns auf die Suche nach einer neuen Box gemacht. Mit bisherigen Produkten von Thule (Dachträger, Fahrradträger) sind wir top zufrieden, demnach war eines klar - die nächste Dachbox ist auch von Thule.

Zugegeben schreckt der Preis zuerst etwas ab, jedoch bereits beim ersten Anfassen merkt man den qualitativen Unterschied. Die Dachbox kann von beiden Seiten geöffnet und befüllt werden, hierdurch muss man nicht auf das Autodach klettern um das Packstück aus der letzten Ecke zu holen. Die erste Fahrt hat mich auch sehr überrascht. Im Vergleich zur vorherigen Box höre ich kaum Luftgeräusche und die Box „wackelt“ nicht so im Wind. Von der Größe bin ich ebenfalls begeistert, das Autodach (Audi A4 Avant) ist vollständig genutzt und der Kofferraum kann noch geöffnet werden ohne dass die Heckklappe an der Box anliegt.

Für das Produkt kann ich demnach mit ruhigem Gewissen 5*...
