Leonard husser: I never knew i would be using putty again for something positive but it is the last time I used something like that i was a little kid but this is different and much stronger for a physical therapy type use and rebuilding strength in your hands and fingers after an injury or surgery

Nativebees: As a lifelong occupational therapist I can highly recommend theraputty. I recently retired and had shoulder surgery. My hands were becoming weak and trembly from shoulder restrictions. Before all precautions were lifted I used it just for my hands, but after that I find I can do all sorts exercise with it that include limited shoulder, forearm and wrist. I got the green medium 6 oz. Though small my hands are in good shape for all resistive exercise (no arthritis). I recommend getting 6 oz vs 4 oz. 4 oz is just too small to do much of anything with. Look online for hand exercises you can do with it. Be sure not to let it in contact with fabric, upholstery or carpet as it will attach to it. Always put it back in the container--don't leave it on the table as it will spread out and over the edge of the table over time. To get it out of the container easily just squeeze around the outsides of the container and then turn it over and give it a thump if you need to. Great exercise!
