ss: The ice pack isn't as flexible as it needed to be to wrap around my hand. I have a pretty small hand, always put a thin towel between the ice pack & my skin. With a thin dish towel, the wrap was a little difficult to velcro & the ice pack was not super flexible. Not impossible, but I think there are better options out there for me.

judygirlie: The knee ice pack is perfect, but the one for the hand gets too cold and hurts.
I’ll probably take the wrist one out of the refrigerator a little early so it can thaw a little. They are worth the money. They definitely alleviate the pain that comes from swelling.

Elizabeth Jelinek: I ordered one of these to assist after carpal tunnel surgery on one of my hands (I have carpal tunnel on both hands, but only had surgery on one to see how it went). The ice pack worked well, and as stated in other places it last just long enough. I ended up using the brace by itself more than with the ice pack as I needed something comfortable, but with a little bit of leeway. My other wrist braces had less give, and at that point were a bit painful to use. The wrap itself with the Velcro closure lets you determine how tight or loose to have it, and also where you would like it on our wrist - i.e. down lower into your arm a bit, or strictly over the wrist and hand. I actually ordered another for my other hand as I find this comfortable to sleep in and help prevent me from tucking my hands in awkwardly while I sleep. I think the only drawback was that you do have to mold the icepack a bit prior to settling it over your wrist to get it in the right position, but that's a small thing overall.
