TheraBand Comfort Fit Ankle & Wrist Weight Set for Walking & Exercise

My2Cents: I like to review exercise materials after I have used them for a long time because durability and comfort when it comes to all types of workout equipment are most important to me. I purchased them almost 10 years ago (2014)!
I am very happy to say that this is one of the best items I have purchased in a long time! Very Pleased with the quality and functionality. Just keep them clean and in a dry place after use. The 5lbs weight option in blue is perfect for adding resistance to my workouts. The cuffs are comfortable to wear thanks to the soft, cushioned interior, which helps prevent any irritation during exercises. They secure snugly with a hook-and-loop closure, ensuring they stay in place during my workouts. Overall, these weight sets have been a great addition to my fitness routine, and I highly recommend them for anyone looking to add some extra resistance to their ankle or wrist exercises. TV: all delivered well on time but one of the weights started to fall off in the middle of the very first workout. and it does not stick anymore. disappointing quality, i expected more from the product that cost on average a double compared to similar products out there

Carlos RCarlos R: What I like the most about this product is the accuracy of the weights. 2.5 lbs is equivalent to 1134 grams. I used two identical and calibrated scales to weigh them, and one came out to 1132 grams and the other 1122. So one is practically right on the money and the other is within a tolerance of 1%. If you're still a stickler for accuracy, you can attach a small ceramic magnet or two to it since the filler is something like iron pellets and is thus magnetic.

It fits very comfortably and the velcro strap allows for a snug fit. Very satisfied.

S.C.: I like the concept, my only complaint is that the velcro is not adjustable for smaller wrists. I am an average sized woman 5'6 136 lbs, but I have smaller wrists. Thees cuffs would work okay for my ankles, but I don't use them for my ankles, only my wrists. Pulling them as tight as I can, leaves too much space, and they flop around on my wrists. I don't know a solution for that adjustment problem. If someone has an idea, please share.

(Added 7/15/2017) I solved the problem of the cuffs being to loose on my wrists by buying stretchy wrist wraps that I put on first. Then I put on the Thera-Bands on top of the wrist wraps. Now they stay in place. So, if anyone else has the problem of the cuffs to loose on their wrists. The stretchy bands are an option.

I also want to mention that I have had these cuffs for a couple of years and use them almost daily. They have held up well with only minor wear and tear. Nothing ever leaks from them, as some people were concerned about. I use them only on my wrists, and I have noticed improvement in my arms' muscle tone.

Millilicious: These are really fantastic and quite comfortable! But...they're clearly made for people who have larger wrists. I can't even keep these on my hands because they slip off each time I swing my arms. Also, the velcro strap would be a lot better if it were padded since it scratches against my ankles when I walk. Other than that, though, they're pretty nice!

Jakester: I got these wrist bands to replace hand weights for power walking. To that purpose they work great. I had used 5 lb. weights in each hand and my fingers got numb before I finished my walk. Switching to wrist bands solved that problem. My only problem now is that the wrist bands only go up to 2.5 lbs. apiece so I had to order another pair to compensate. The wrist weights are each to take on and off with velcro straps that are strong and very long to accomodate various wrist widths. The material on the underside is smooth and absorbant so they don't chafe and they dry out within 24 hours. Highly recommended.
