TheFitLife Carbon Fiber Trekking Poles for Stability and Comfort on the Trail

Bryan Knight: was on the fence with trekking poles, but decided to get a pair to try them out and landed on these due to weight and cost. I am 6ft 1 and I put all my body into these as we hiked up and down mountains for a 2 week new mexico trip and they were fantastic. Once I got them set to my desired height they were great. Light weight, I think they slide down once or twice, but I little tightening of the adjustment screw and I was set. SUPER helpful on the uphills when carrying 50+lbs and they weight next to nothing.

Compared to the more expensive $100+ black diamond ones my buddy had... these had more plastic on the adjustment screws and locking parts, but the plastic was fine. Functionally identical and way less.

I did tear through the rubber tips after a week, but I picked up a set of mountain smith replacement tips... they were a bit nicer, but it wasn't THAT much better. Would recommend no question.

Clifford: Purchased a pair of these as an aid to walking the moors. Previously never bothered using walking poles but having arthritis and awaiting hip replacement surgery very useful. The cam lock closures being far safer than screw types. The carbon shafts are strong enough and provide good support.
Several different point ends Included In a handy roll up case.
My only niggles being the rubber foot attachments wear through to the pointed end Inside fairly quickly, but I assume these can be replaced as and when?
Decent value for what you pay for and does the job.

jimG: The poles are realy good quality the adjustment is excellent. The light weight of the poles is good, making them comfortable to carry but still making them sturdy. I did have one issue ! Not with the product quality, but with something in the instructions. Reading through it gave a code that they say should give a 20% discount when you buy spair tips for them from Amazon I tried to buy a set but the code does not work, I even tried it on the Amazon US site but it does not work there either. After getting in touch with the supplier they sorted it out for me, I would definitely recommend these poles they are light, strong and the company has excellent customer service. Overall it was a brilliant purchase.

LauraLaura: After experiencing knee pain when hiking, I had multiple people recommended hiking poles. I watched several videos on proper use, including how to measure, using TWO poles and right arm/left leg motions... I was able to hike twice as far as I had previously with little to NO pain. Super happy with the quality and multiple tip options. Great poles at a good price.

California TouristCalifornia Tourist: I used these "sticks" on the Galápagos Islands. Our walks often included rocky or lava terrain and they gave me a great sense of stability. I like how easily they expand and collapse, and the different "feet" that are included for mud, snow, etc.

J M Jones: My first set of trekking poles, and hopefully the last - I'm 70 so hope they last me out.
Read and viewed lots of information about poles prior to ordering these, and it seemed like a good idea to get carbon fibre, which I do love, rather than noisy aluminium, and I'm very pleased that I did.
These were about the cheapest carbon fibre I could find, but they appear very well made and care has gone into the manufacture.
Early days yet, but so far they have proved ideal in every respect - well pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend them to anybody slightly serious about their use: I have back and hip problems and they made an immediate difference/improvement to my walking experience - I literally could feel the difference both during my walks and afterwards.

Die Stopfen sind nach ca. 400 km durch, Ersatz ist aber mitgeliefert…

Sojourner: Had some qualms about purchasing these fiber poles based on a few reviews. However, pulled the trigger and after 9 days of hard hiking in Glacier Nat'l Park, I would rate them very good. A few comments / suggestions. For those who said they collapsed on them. The screw adjustment on these poles has to be recalibrated before every hike. When you release the latch, the screw is no longer under tension and can and most likely will loosen though vibration of the car, movement, etc. I leaned that if you make a quick calibration adjusting screw so that the latch set very snug, almost to the point of forcing down before each hike, you will have no issues. This takes less than 30 seconds. I have a pair of the FitLife aluminum poles with twist adjustment and I now much prefer these 7 oz. poles over those any day.

Son unos bastones ligeros y muy practicos, Hay que cuidarlos como a cualquier producto, bueno algunas personas quizas somos un poco brutotes y luego no quedan bien. Pero ante el problema que me surgio con los bastones (un cambio de puntas, y un desgaste en uno de los tramos) El servicio postventa ni me pidio mas detalles, me hizo un recambio. Rapido, excelente.
