Niki: This is a great book to introduce economics to your daughter. It prompted many questions and discussions. The content is written in a very kid friendly way to expose them to basic budgeting, basic accounting, and supply and demand.

sanoe.net: I'm an adult and I find the Smart Girl's Guides useful for advice. The guides keep the advice simple yet pertinent. While it is geared towards pre-teens and teens, it has advice that can be kept through the years. "A Smart Girl's Guide: Money (Revised): How to Make It, Save It, and Spend It (Smart Girl's Guides)" is no exception. The advice is clear and useful. I love the page of "How Gullible Are You?". It is a simple quiz but it gives the reader the idea of how marketing can work on a person. I also love the section on "Making Money" because it assumes that the reader's intelligence. It is, after all, a "Smart Girl" guide. So I love that too. Just a really great read full of useful advice.

KhadiMadama Yours Truly, Media: totally fun. even though i am an adult and have been an entrepreneur for many years, i found the book delightful, insightful and inspirational. I was able to actually develop some spin off ideas from the "child sized" business ideas it contains. i believe that money and making money should be fun. grownups make money a drudgery--the earning of it, the bill paying of it, the accounting of it. But this book just makes money fun, so I keep a copy of it on my desk so that i can remember that money is fun. Great book for girls and adults who want more money fun in their life.

Coyboyhotpot: Great book on showing girls how to spend money wisely, although does not suit all ages, as it explains credit cards and girls under 11 don't really need to know this because in england you have to be 11 to get one... Quizzes are also a nice touch. Overall great book about money and how to save it, spend it, and how to earn it.
