kyle: Charlie Berens is a well known must see comedian in the Midwest, known for his Wisconsin accent & humor. Ive been to multiple specials of his, and was estatic when he announced publishing his book. Each page provides essential tips for living in the Midwest in a comedic manor. Growing up in Wisconsin, this book is very relevant and provides humor throughout the entire read.

wordplay2011: Charlie Berens is a Wisconsin comedian and he knows how to tickle the funnybone of Midwesterners. This book was a gift to the family and we've all enjoyed reading his commentary and stories aloud. He hits the nail on the head of what it's like to be a Midwesterner, from popular regional foods to jokes about mores and behaviors. Some of his tales are poignant and may bring a little tear to your eye. Great fun!

Amazon Customer: As a native of eastern Montana (which has a decidedly midwestern vibe), I found the book humorous in most spots. The differences between a casserole and a hot dish are seared in memory. I gave the book to my sister who has moved to North Dakota, and she also liked it. Yes, she has made human "puppy chow." However, there are far too many quizzes that break the flow of the material.
