Kathy B.: After reading this story, I bought one for a gift for my brother in law who served in the Viet Nam war. It's a great story about the men that became friends during and after serving in the war. Greatest beer run ever!

Terry Smith: A fascinating story of bravery, thoughtfulness, and patriotism when it was desperately needed!
Having little knowledge of the Vietnam war, it was very enlightening!

Heather: This book is a recounting of a true life adventure. The author made the beer run to his NYC neighborhood buddies serving in Vietnam. Coincidentally, he arrived at DaNang harbor the same day I reported aboard ship in Vietnam. As a civilian, he got caught up in the TET offensive. Do NOT see the movie. It does the book no justice. I was severely disappointed in the movie. I loved the book.

Peter from Buckinghamshire: The story of remarkable, some would say foolish loyalty. Quiet unbelievable, surprised that there's not a film.

United Kingdom on Sep 20, 2021

Marquinius: Perhaps not the highest literary standard, but a jolly good read and fabulous adventure. Just imagine getting out there in the middle of it all, all on some feel good bet.

Well done Chicky!
