hiya: This book is my go-to graduation gift for high school kids. I purchase several copies each year for gifts. It's well-written, and covers just about any situation you can think of! It's an easy-to-read format, you could pick it up and just scan through a few bites or sections, or you could sit down and read it front to back. I recommend it to anyone headed to freshman year at college. The author has a great conversational tone, and gives great advice that young adults might find more tolerable, coming from someone who is not their "parent." Good buy.

Jade Salazar: Got this for my niece who was raised Southern Baptist and is off to a large university. I'm her lesbian aunt from a big city who wants to make sure she's comfortable and ready. After reading quite a few sections, I love how respectful this book is of religion while also encouraging safe exploration and growth. I feel like me and my sister can both read this and approve. I also used to work at a r@pe crisis center and the consent messaging is up-to-date and excellent. Thank you!! I can sleep better knowing she'll have this knowledge.
