todd sickinger: This is a very good book, but since it is specifically for people who go hiking, get lost and need to survive, I didn’t get everything I was looking for. I don’t get lost or take long hikes into the wilderness, I’m worried more about SHTF with current situation world wide.

David: My kids are not big into reading. I bought this and just stuck in the back seat of the truck. I've noticed them reading it quite often when we are driving around town. They have enjoyed it. Good stuff in here too. My boys are 11 and 13 and have been in Scouts since Tigers.

the priceable presented are strait forward no nonce approach to staying alive until rescue.
this is a good read for both the New person as well as a reminder for the experienced person going out into the woods
