Ponderer: Title sells this book. Better instruction books out there. Has some nice examples and basic shooting information.

The.Piano.Man: I’ve had some very good (and very expensive) tactical training over the years, but I still learned a lot from this book. I can tell my shooting is improving the more I implement some of the techniques encouraged here. Highly recommended.

Joseph J. Truncale: As a person who has had a passion for numerous martial and combat arts for more than 7 decades, (Judo, Jujitsu, Karate-Do, Knife fighting, Stick fighting, Combat shooting and many other arts), I am always seeking to learn more about those topics. This is why when I saw this 148-page soft cover book (How to shoot like a Navy SEAL: Combat marksmanship fundamental by Chris Sajnog, Navy SEAL firearms instructor) on Amazon I decided to purchase it.
As someone who has served in the U.S. Navy (Not as a Navy SEAL), and with a 30-year career as a law enforcement officer, (Patrol, Detective, and a Firearms, Baton, and D.T. Instructor) I was familiar with much of the material in this fantastic book; however, I recommend this very practical and informative book to anyone who desires to improve their shooting skills. I agree with everything this Navy SEAL teaches in this excellent book.
The author emphasizes this simple truth that no matter what kind of skill, whether it be unarmed or weapon combat, FOCUSED AND REGULAR PRACTICE, PRACTICE, AND MORE PRACTICE is the key to becoming proficient. Even at my old age I still train intensely 6 days a week, which includes dry fire...

Falcon: I understand that a military operator does not have to be a novel writer at the same time and usually is not but if this is a celebrity amongst nave seals then I start to wonder what the others are. Practically nothing to say and add except repeating the mantra that repetition drives excellence - probably the reason why this is practically the sole theme of the book with mega large fonts, triple line spacings and one which I read end to end in under an hour. I am definitely not a seal nor aspiring to be one, prefer to use my gray cells instead, but this elementary training we receive in the first couple of days of training. Nothing special to repeating lessons acquired and learned to improve ones' skills. The vides were also a waste of time which to me is more precious than the money wasted. Last but not least in typical american fashion his free site offers additional features for an additonal dollar there or dollar here. I am not even sure if collecting ones data and proof of purchase is done under GDPR requirements including data storage - will look into that in more detail.

Jeffrey Stytz: Great read! I found the information extremely helpful and it answered a lot of questions I had on shooting. One of the most important bits of knowledge outside of daily practice is that instructors seem to teach you how to shoot like them instead of teaching you to shoot the correct way. The cohesiveness of mind, body and spirit is a topic you don't see in other training and is critical to being a better shooter.

MR R W VERSTANDIG: This book is a good read and full of very useful and detailed information, written by a guy who has done the hard yards. If you are a shooter, combat or recreational, then this book is a "must have" that should be on your "how to shoot" reading list.

buckshot: Well formatted written aid to those seeking mastery of the handgun shooting. The light tongue and cheek humour is an added bonus. As a lifelong student of firearms shooting techniques I can say this book is valuable to both padewan and jedi master alike.

Raymond: I am always looking for an edge, a way to improve on what I have learned through training and experience. My wife asked "Another book on shooting?" Even at my age (62) I still find that I cannot let time ravish my skills. Chris's book, How To Shoot Like A Navy Seal, again reminded me that it all goes back to a solid foundation, those basic skills. He covers his adaptations on what we learned and improves on what was considered to the best advice at the time. I have never stopped learning, trying to master my shooting skills, I never feel like I am there but his book put me closer then I have ever been. It has been 40 years since my sniper training, almost al long since I was teach tactics, I have trained, read, practiced over the years and this book put the basics back into perspective.
