MeMe: Now the first thing I want to mention is the art style, i am absolutely in love with it, it's so sleek and beautiful just everything about it, so much loveand care was put into these books and as someone who loves skyrim it's just perfect. The lore is wonderful and the stories are just as amazing, it can be boring for me but that's just due to my adhd. The quality of the pages are strong and thick they wont tear by just fliping a page. the box itself is lovely just slide the booksnright on in and they fit perfectly!
So for anyone who loves skyrim this box set is highly recommended

shiloh: Got this book for my husband who absolutely loves playing Skyrim and Morrowind, the books are full of beautiful art and lore, it actually has a section in the book that tells jokes they were really funny!
If you love Skyrim and want to know more about the different races backstory’s this book with definitely be worth going into you collection!

Klapauzius: Every bit of text in these two volumes is directly taken out of one of the lore books you can find scattered across the ESO game world. So while these books have a nice visual appeal (which I like a lot), you won't get anything new.
What I mind the most, though, is not the lack of originality, but that the texts seem to have been chosen at random. There isn't any coherence or direction, it's all bits and pieces. So if your hope is (like mine was) to get a better understanding of the history and background of the Elder Scrolls world, peoples, history and lore, you will probably be disappointed.

Shirkin: Honestly, an amazing price for what is many hours of lore to be read stand-alone, or along side the games! Reading these while fishing in ESO or exploring Skyrim or Oblivion has been a blast, and I learned so much that I appreciate in every minute of gameplay. They're bound well, fit nicely together on the shelf, and DON'T suffer from that giant-print-very-little-on-page issue that a lot of series based books suffer from when they're trying to cheap out. I'd buy them again as a gift for anyone who loves the Elder Scrolls.

This gorgeous slipcase boxed set brings together the previously released hardcovers of "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tales of Tamriel, Book I: The Land" and "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tales of Tamriel: Book II: The Lore," with a slight re-branding so it seems less specific to Elder Scrolls Online. The covers now only say "Tales of Tamriel."
That's a good change, too. Though branded as being tied to The Elder Scrolls Online, an MMO many offline players have been hesitant to check out -- for what it's worth, it's a great game that earns the Elder Scrolls name -- the content and stories here are pretty universal and will be of interest to any Elder Scrolls lore geek, from novices to the long devoted.
The production quality on this set is OUTSTANDING. The books are sturdy hardcovers with faux leather textured covers, lavish illustrations inside, and thick glossy paper. They are genuinely GORGEOUS. I initially balked at the price, but once I had it in my hands I understood.
