Theodore N. Schnell: I had hoped to get this Bible in its prior translation as the Holman Christian Standard Bible -- the CSB made reverted back to some more traditional wording that is less precise, but it remains a great version of the Bible. The study aids related to apologetics are what drew me to this Bible version.

SimonG: This thing is packed full of information. I don't spend too much time marking up this Bible. But I do take the notes and transfer them to my wide margin Bible.
I certainly wouldn't make the print any smaller. But then I'm almost 70 and I wear glasses so you younger folk may not have such an issue. But for studying this thing is really great it's got a lot of detail. I really commend those people who took the time to put this Bible together. I've been a King James fan for over 40 years until recently when I got this Bible and my wife got a New Living Translation Bible which I like to use as a comparison along with this one and the King James.
If you like to study and get into some of the details that you won't find another places, get this Bible. I got the hardcover and I am very well pleased.
It stays in my office I don't take it anywhere because like I said I transcribe the info I want to use in my wide margin.

Law.D: I purchased this study Bible for my grandson who goes to a Christian high school. He was so impressed with all the side notes and explanations to some questions that are brought up according to the world we live in today. He likes to look up those site notes for answers for his friends too.
I am ordering another one actually for myself. I have a study Bible, but after reviewing his Bible before I gave it to him, I liked his better than the MacArthur Bible that I currently study. Although it’s time to retire that Bible, I’ve had it repaired twice. I don’t always agree with MacArthur but I actually agree with this study Bible commentary. 👍🏻

Tania: The media could not be loaded.  I borrowed the previous HCSB version from a local church library and checked the difference in the translations and I like it so far. The footnotes, comments and explanation are great, they really help to understand it better and have more context. I also love the design, which makes it easy to read. 100% recommended.

Dave: I usually read through the Bible every year. For some reason this year, I'm already on my third time through... and without even trying. I think the reason is that I have decided to read different versions. And that has made the read even more enjoyable and provided better understanding. At the moment I am reading the Apologetics. I have already purchased the Chronological version and after that the cultural one. This Apologetics version opens new topics to me. It has various authors adding their insights of the world around me and what it asks as I read through various passages. I didn't know there were so many questions being asked. It's nice to see some good answers... to questions I never thought of. I have to say that although I don't agree with all of the authors, I do like reading some of the thoughts and facts that are presented. Several times I have just read something by one of the Apologists and I encounter that very thing in my daily life. Glad I bought it.
