Morsi: I love these books and I grew up with them, but the original stories are a little dated when it comes to gender stereotypes. It’s Male doctors and “pretty nurses” - the newer books are more balanced in their gender narratives. Also the man with the yellow had goes to africa and kindnaps George. It almost seams a little brutal for a two year old. But non the less they are great stories and a good opportunity to talk about how the world has develop.

Josh Eanes: I loved these books when I was 5 and still love them at 45. If you're easily offended, these aren't for you. These books were written between 1941 and If I remember right 1966. Like it or not, smoking was a thing back then as well as many things that aren't viewed as "politically correct". So if you want your kids to live in a bubble until they're 21, then I don't recommend these books. However, if you want to be honest with your kids and show them this world isn't perfect, then YES by all means, buy these books and enjoy them with your kids or in my case my grandkids.

Coralie LE MOIGNE: J'ai découvert "Curious George" par le biais de livres offerts à notre fils de deux ans et demi, il y a quelques semaines. Personnage et histoires immédiatement adoptés par mon fils, qui est devenu beaucoup plus motivé pour aller se coucher. Et pourtant, ce n'est pas faute d'avoir des livres, mais c'est ce petit personnage qui est visiblement l'élu du moment. J'ai donc souhaité acheter d'autres histoires sur internet, vu qu'il est difficile de les trouver en librairies, et que les éditions traduites en français ne se font plus depuis longtemps. Notre fils est bilingue, et j'en ai donc trouvé en anglais, et suis satisfaite.

Le code pour avoir la version audio fonctionne bien aussi.

Seul bémol: J'ai bien reçu le colis, et dans les temps, mais le coffret contenant les livres est arrivé crevé. Il est ouvert au dos, et dans le fond, et est déformé. Le coffret était dans un carton plus grand que lui, et pas vraiment protégé. J'imagine qu'en étant manipulé dans la logistique, les mouvements et poids ont fini par complètement endommager le coffret. Ce qui est regrettable … Mieux calé dans l'emballage, cela ne se serait pas produit.
