Ouremmadog: I’m a preschool teacher and over the years I have enjoyed this book with a lot of children. My copy was misplaced so I bought a new copy. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it said it came with sticker sheets and when I received it there were none.

JeMicheSunshine: Purchased this book 9 years ago for my first Grand. Then, the book came with stickers, and how to draw the little monkeys, etc. The melody of the cadence of the book is marvelous for young children; helping them to enjoy reading and being read to! Fortifying family bonding. And I used the melodic cadence for other things, providing me a fun way to teach young children!
UNFORTUNATELY, NEVER RECEIVED THIS ORDER, SO I DON'T KNOW HOW THE BOOK IS IN 2021.

Paola: Bellissimo libro, acquistato per il mio bimbo di 2anni, gli piace che gli legga le storie delle scimmiette... il libro è grande, cartonato, contiene 5 storie, le pagine sono tutte illustrate, per ogni pagina c’è poco testo (2-4 righe), scritte della giusta grandezza, ma è quello che serve per l’età, in più c’è anche un’appendice finale su come disegnare le scimmiette. Consigliato

There are 5 monkey stories in this one hard cover book. Somehow they've managed to get the book to be over 120 pages! There are lots of pages with only one phrase, so my little guy loves that the short stories feel a lot longer and have lots of pics. At the end of the book, there are a couple of pages of 'how to draw a monkey' which is fun.
When u received the book, it was much larger than I expected it to be. We love this book. I would have paid more for it :)

MaryAnn: This is really a darling book! Using the characters from the beloved "five little monkeys songs/fingerplays," the author illustrates the two songs [Jumping on the Bed and Sitting in a tree], but then goes on to create more stories for them. She uses unexpected humor when after all the kids are chastised for jumping on the bed, Mama Monkey goes to her bedroom...and jumps on her bed too. Spoiler alert for "Five Little Monkeys Sitting in a Tree": the monkeys do not get eaten by Mr. Crocodile. :-) Whew! Thank goodness for sequels. Additional stories in the treasury are:"Five Little Monkeys with Nothing to Do, "Five Little Monkeys Bake a Birthday Cake" and "Five Little Monkeys Wash the Car." They are all very creative and fun. Most importantly, kids love them. There is a table of contents, and each story is bordered with a different color on the bottom of the page, so it is easy to find where a new story begins. It also has a short lesson at the end on how to draw a monkey, the words to one of the songs and stickers for kids to have fun with. I purchased it as a used book on Amazon, got a great price and an almost perfect copy. The author has written two more stories about the monkeys...
