M. Bernardi: I don't need my paper towel to be soft- I need it to hold together when I use it. This paper towel works very well, and I feel good about knowing it is made out of bamboo, which reproduces rapidly, making it far more sustainable than trees from an environmental standpoint.

silkandstone: We use this brand’s loo paper and tissues so thought we’d try the kitchen roll. There’s no escaping the fact that it is a lot more expensive than others, however, it is far thicker and stronger so holds liquids without becoming a soggy mess. Very good for absorbing excess oil in pans before washing. One sheet will do where others would require more. We don’t use masses of it as I would always use a washable cloth for spills where possible so the pack of 12 will last us a long time. I will purchase again.

Moon Goddess Naturals: I loved these paper towels. They were great at cleaning up messes, but they didn't last very long and there were only two rolls. I knew that when I purchased them, but I wanted bamboo instead of just paper. I think environmentally as much as I can. I can say that there is a better, cost effective brand that I now purchase. Not enough for the cost.

JennJenn: Everything you’re used to in a high quality paper towel, just more sustainable to the environment. Those reviewers complaining that these rolls “don’t fit on a standard paper towel holder” are being picky and ridiculous as they fit perfectly fine, these are simply slightly shorter than a conventional roll so you’ll have a little extra wiggle room. I have no negatives, very happy with this product.

Sheet sizes are 8.75x8.5 inches.
Roll diameter is 4.5 and 8.75 width.
I have a nifty paper towel dispenser from Japan and these fit nicely - I haven't been able to find another roll like this. Perhaps this is the standard size in Australia too.
I appreciate the non-plastic wrapping, too bad Amazon ships in a plastic bag....
