Dropsofdew: Is your life hard? Do you fight existential dread? Are you in therapy and trying to get your life together? If you answered these question yes or no, then this journal is for you. It allows you to reflect on little moments in your life. It doesn’t complicate the process. Gratitude can increase happiness by 10% and reduce depressive symptoms by 35%. How do I know that? I googled it of course. Seriously though, I am on day 4 and it has been an easy way to help me reflect on some great things I have going on in my life. Definitely would recommend. Each page includes questions and quotes.📖☹️➡️😊

Isolde: Gratitude journaling receives high marks for improving mental well-being and enhancing quality of life. I purchased this journal for myself for Christmas in hopes of establishing a positive, everyday habit that brings a better sense of perspective and mind.

The Good:
The journal isn't large or obtrusive, about the size of a Kindle and much lighter. The ample page size presents plenty of room to write without trying to fill in reams of paper, or cramming answers into a very tight space. Ruled lines spread out far enough to accommodate a meaningful response, though you will need extra sheets if you need a paragraph answer for each prompt.

The prompt qualities excel at considering different questions. They aren't all focused on 'name one thing good you did today' or meaningless platitudes that read like a Hallmark card. They target different aspects of everyday life from relationships to favourite places and items to meaningful experiences. Altogether, filling out a page can take as little as 5 minutes, or much longer if you want to ponder. The exercise leaves you with control on how to respond.

Michelle: This is my third gratitude journal, it's a great practice to take a moment to appreciate life and all the good things in it as our minds can often overlook these, especially at stressful times.
It looked like the prompts in this one would be a nice change and a bit of fun but they repeat quite often, especially "a breakdown that lead to a breakthrough". It's not fun to be reminded of breakdowns every couple of weeks or so and, even if there were breakthroughs, how many breakdowns is the average person having? I've seen negative reviews raising the question "a privilege I have now that I've previously taken for granted" but when thinking about hot and cold running water, a place to call home, pets, friends, family and even little things like favourite foods, phone calls, the ability to read and write and all sorts - we typically take a lot for granted.
However, this book manages to be both a bit long and a bit short, in the way that it becomes a bit tedious yet it only lasts three and a half months. If I'd realised the length, which isn't clear, I wouldn't have bought this one. Others make it clear how long they'll last so that seemed a bit unfair. At the same time, I'm glad...
