JPM NVJPM NV: I bought this because I live alone and have a front load washing machine that's Eco-Star rated but doesn't wash things very well. I figured after a day of work I could just strip down, throw my dirty clothes into this washer/spinner unit and relax. I can definitely achieve that with this unit.
Here are some pointers that I figured out with it after doing 3 hours of laundry using the unit:
1 - Hard on dyes. Do not wash for 15 minutes if you like your clothing's color. I wash with cold water and the dyes still seem to leach with this.
2 - Do not drain until after you are done with the spin cycle. The water helps balance the unit with the centrifugal force.
3 - If you have liquid detergent or concentrated detergent use drops.
4 - Will fit a bath towel but needs to be rinsed for a second wash to get rid most of the detergent.
5 - Wool garments work; however, wash and spin one at a time. I have a knit-wool jacket in US Large. It fit just barely into the spinner but the bonus was that it did not "felt" the wool.
6- The unit will not wash any sheets meant for a Queen-sized bed, or larger. I am skeptical that it will fit a twin sized bed sheet in the...

Dena: Super small!!!
Can’t usenit for what I bought it for
I am a size 2 in jeans and I would be hard pressed to get one pair of jeans into the spinner

Amazon Customer: It’s kinda small. But does enough clothes and doesn’t take long so multiple loads not a problem. Beats going to the laundry mat. Did 2 pair of jeans and I’m fairly big. Anyone who has to leave there home to do laundry should look into a portable washing machine

Holly Holcomb: When I first opened it, my heart sank. It looked smaller than I had envisioned. I thought there is no way I can do anything with this... Oh boy was I wrong. I plopped it in my shower and off I went. I started at 3 and finished 5:30. Sounds like a lot of time but... I washed the following: 7 kitchen towels, 2 xl bath towels, 1 bath robe, 1 queen sheet set, 8 pillow cases, 1 queen blanket, 2 jeans, 1 pair socks, 8 pairs of leggings, 10 t-shirts, 5 nightgown dress thingies, 9 shorts, 6 dresses, 5 bras, 1 throw blanket, 1 set of curtains, 1 bathroom rug and one 5 ft runner rug. I have a queen blanket that was way too heavy so I used the washer side and hand washed. The other queen blanket was able to be washed but was too big for the spinner. I simply used it to wash and hung after.
I cheated on the wash method suggested. I used the same wash water for two loads and used the spin side to do the final rinse. To make things more efficient, I pulled out the whole load, loaded another, started the wash and then piece by piece did the spin for the previous load. The spin side finished with a minute or two to spare and I used this time to hang the clothes. This way there was always...

UltimApe: I works and does it's job while taking up a small space. I have a skin problem with soaps and certain bleaches so I was unable to use the on-site washing facilities. This allowed me to keep my clothes clean while avoiding allergic reactions.
I would have preferred a separate spin dry and wash unit, but didn't have the space so this worked well enough. I had to elevate it (used a storage tote upside down) to get it to drain well. I was originally using 5 gallon buckets to move water, but it was hard on me due to muscle problems.
It spun out water really well and dried faster than expected after hanging. A little tricky to get it balanced sometimes, but got the hang of it after a few loads. Usually took two spins to get all the clothes from the wash.
Recommend keeping it near the drain area and filling it with a mobile shower head if you are unable to get it plumbed. Mine drained on the left side so I just emptied it into a 5 gallon tote a short distance away from the tub where I dumped it.
Because this doesn't have a blower drier or lint trap, it leaves a lot of lint that can start to build up on clothes. It looks odd because it knits together like...
