Annette Perez: I’ve always been more focused on looks rather than comfort which is NOT what you need when buying hiking shoes lol. These boots have both! They’re so cute and so comfortable. Great support shoe for hiking through mud or snow. I absolutely love and recommend them.

Cameron J.Cameron J.: 10/10 would recommend this to anyone wanting a lightweight low profile women’s hiking boot. Not only are they comfy, they are warm, and waterproof. The sole is a nice slip resistant material that is very durable. This boot is perfect for short, mid, long hikes in cold, wet, or dry climates. This boot does run smaller and I got my wife a half size up. She wears a 6 1/2 and I got her a 7 and they fit perfectly. Overall this is a solid boot and it is definitely a better looking design than most name brand companies. Ex: Solomon, Merrells. Before you buy another brand, check this one out first.

NiccitNiccit: I was happy to snag one last pair of Teva Sugarpines since they appear to be very limited and perhaps even the Teva version is now discontinued? I have pictured them next to my 6 year old Ahnu Sugarpines (blue). They do look very similar but the material is quite different. The Teva’s are way stiffer material which is disappointing since there was zero break in time needed for my Ahnus.

I don’t enjoy the brown color as much either. I have worn my new Sugarpines to shovel in a blizzard and also to snow shoe. They were fine for 2.5 miles except while snow shoeing one ankle kept rubbing. I’ve never had this happen in my Ahnus. Once I took the snow shoes off they felt fine but thick winter/hiking socks are warranted to break these in.

I’m really hoping they hold up for hiking this summer without rubbing.

For size reference I ordered an 8.5 in Ahnu and also 8.5 in the Teva. I’m normally an 8M women’s US in regular shoes but like to wear thick smartwools while wearing hiking boots and the size 8.5 is perfect for that.

Update: After hiking in these all summer they have been just fine. Still a little stiffer than ahnu but overall great and don’t...

Chery: So happy I purchased! Came quickly, light weight, quality is fantastic! I got 1/2 size bigger, I have wide feet. Also wanted thicker sock for winter hiking. My feet get cold easily, haven't had a cold foot yet (knock on wood), surprised as they are lightweight which I wanted for summer hikes. I did research before buying hiking boots, I'm so incredibly happy with these. Waterproof, great ankle support. Instant comfort, didn't have a break in period. We've gone on 1-2 hour hikes so far and comfort is amazing. Highly recommend!

Amanda Barth: I'm so happy I found these boots! I've always been a big fan of Ahnu Sugarpine hiking shoes and have gone through several pairs doing fieldwork, hikes, and backpacking trips. I have been searching everywhere for available Sugarpine options but discovered that Ahnu was purchased by Teva and assimilated their brand. Since Ahnu's Sugarpine design was the only one that fit my feet without giving me blisters and smashing my toe box, I went ahead and sprung for the Teva version.

These hiking boots are wonderful. They're basically just what I was looking for, they're warm and waterproof, yet breathable and pliable. I took these on several hikes in Utah's Wasatch Mountains and then on a backpacking trip into the Grand Canyon last month. We got a fair amount of snow and my feet were pretty warm until I'd been hiking in a foot of snow for 5 hours. No blisters! Dry feet!

I love these boots and I'm grateful to know this design lives on under the Teva brand. Plus the chocolate brown + fuchsia color scheme is awesome.

Rebecca: Soles are great. Handled rugged, wet fall conditions great. Pretty waterproof through puddles, and generally wet conditions.

General comfort pretty good. However these gave me a nasty blister on my right heel even with a fairly thick sock.Very disappointing on that front. I wore them around house for a few hours several days before a hike, no issues until on trail.

There is a hard seam inside the right boot that moves up and down. Not on left boot. I assume a manufacturing defect.

If this wasn’t an issue, they’d be a 5 star. They are otherwise that good and fit as expected.
