B from Mahopac: I tried one of the "off brands" of koi food you find on Amazon and when I did I had a few fish die unexpectedly. I dumped the old food and immediately switched back to the Tetra Pond food. Never had another one die on me.

Dsalz: I have a large koi pond with over 150 fish. I go through a 5 pound bag every month. This product is the most economical price (5 pound bag) and the fish seem to enjoy the food.

Gayle: I have koi and goldfish in my pond. The koi love this so do the goldfish however the goldfish have a slight problem with the size and shape. These are sausage shaped small but long the goldfish struggle a bit with the length. They are use to pellet type feed. My fish are on their second year but a good size. The koi are of course a bit larger. Koi about 9-10 inches goldfish about 7 inches.
Once the food gets softer the goldfish can eat it a lot easier.
It doesn’t last long enough to get soft as they go into a feeding frenzy. I’ve taken some and broke them in half that works well. They are very easy to break or crumble.
