Mich H.: I’ve tried 5 different types of fish food and this is the only one my betta will eat. Pellets also stay on the surface for a long time so I can pick them off if he doesn’t eat them. I can’t speak for the flavour as I haven’t sampled them myself.

Amazon Customer: I went through 2 different food brands before I googled which beta pellets doesn’t SINK the moment you drop it in the water. It was hassle to drop one pellet in at a time hoping that my betta would catch it in time before reaching to the bottom and making a mess. Hikari was the only one that was a good protein source and floats and my betta love them!

kozel: My betta stopped eating and spitting out the much larger pellets that I purchased in the pet store, then after searching online, I found references to this product. My betta loves it, he has no issues swallowing it and I noticed that he became much more active and happy. Great product, will buy again when I run out.

Patricia Frutos: Great product - have been using for two years for my betta fish, and it makes his colour more vibrant. Given how this is being advertised, I assumed I was getting 3 packages. You only get one. You can find this at PetVslue for $4.99!

Em: My betta will only eat this food and he snubs all the other expensive food I've purchased. His color is great, he's active, and the small size is easier for him to eat.
When ordering, I was concered about the potential expiration date. But it is reasonable (just over one year from now). I received the proper quantity and it arrived undamaged.
The only downside is the packaging which can be tricky. It's easy to over feed by accident. But that's a critique for the manufacturer.
I'm happy with this seller and the great price for three packs of food. Thank you!

However- my only complaint is that the packaging is difficult to use. You are supposed to snip off the end and turn it this way and that until the right amount comes out. It's annoying, easy to spill, easy to put too much in there, and so on.
My solution was to dump out all the old food from my previous "fake" food that had a great package, and reuse it with this food. Now if Hikari would make an actual useable feeder, that would be great.
