Aware in Texas (yes there are some of us!): i thought, due to the title, that these would be like some other almost threadbare wash clothes that i had purchased from a national chain. i finally got around to using them and i am simply shocked. these are SO soft. SO thick. SO absorbent. SO well made. if this is "basic", i can't imagine what a "regular" would be like. i have spendy restoration hardware towel sets for the bathrooms & they can't compete with these. next time they need replacing, amazon basic towels (hope they exist) will go in my cart! just startling they're so fabulous! and no - i don't work for amazon or have their stock.

bunnysaver: I was looking for very basic face-washing washcloths that I could switch out frequently. These are a nice texture and thickness, and the price is terrific. They're soft, just abrasive enough, and air-dry quickly. I haven't put them through the washer/dryer yet, but they seem very decently-woven and finished, and unlikely to lose a lot of lint. So far, I'm happy with them!

baileigh colerick: I use these as cleaning rags. At first there was quite a bit of lint, but after many washes that seemed to not be such an issue. They absorb great and the size is the usual size of a wash cloth. Nice and thick. A little plush. They are starting to come unraveled at a few seams, but they get used roughly with a lot of washing, so it’s expected.

Lindsay R.: Decided to switch from using a loofa to washcloths since loofas hold so much bacteria, and wanted a large pack so that I can use a clean one each day. I keep these rolled up nicely in a cute basket in our bathroom so that I can grab one as I’m getting in the shower each day. They get the job done! Great size and they’re soft but not too soft, so they still exfoliate well. There’s more than enough for me to have clean ones between loads of laundry, so I find myself using them for household cleaning as well

MommaBMommaB: UPDATE (4 months of regular use): The color retention isn’t mentioned in the description but now that I’ve had an opportunity to test them for a few months of 2x per week washing, I have some good news. The purple washcloths are now more of a lavender (more like the color in the ad) and are just as soft and well-composed as when I bought them. The only strings I’ve seen are from me ripping the tags off with my hands - I don’t have time for scissors. 🙃 I also don’t wash as directed, I wash on high with warm water and have not been nice to them at all. Thank you, Amazon!
