Khushminder: It scan qr code and bar code but not accurately. It change numbers to symbols without performing any change. Not much support or online videos to figure out the problem.

Austin Melcavage: First I want to say that the seller has great customer service! Amazon sent us and older model of the same scanner that did not work with QR codes on accident. They were able to confirm I was sent the wrong scanner, and was able to get a new one out to me within a few days. I think it actually was faster than if I would have gone through amazon.

Now for the product itself, it just works. Very minimal set up was needed, and it was very easy to have ready for use. I'll be honest, the scanning speed on this one is not as fast as the older model I had first, but this one used a different laser/sensor, so I am still finding the best angle/distance to get the best reading speeds. The best part that we are ready to use is its continuous scan mode and storage mode. When doing inventory and keeping track of where things are (in boxes in storage) this scanner will make the process so much easier and faster!

Overall great so far especially for the price. Would definitely recommend checking it out!

Stromer: I initially ordered two of these barcode readers to read all sorts of barcodes (1D, 2D (QR & PDF417). One of the barcode readers i received did not read PDF417 barcodes at all. I contacted the company and they quickly responded and tried to help me solve the issues by scanning some extra codes into the reader but it did not resolve the issue. The company sent another barcode reader to me for free and it works for the most part.

Some issues I have with the barcode reader that significantly effect the checkout process of my business are:

- While using the wireless Dongle, the barcode reader transmits data much more slowly and sometimes throws the character "a" randomly before a string which can cause all sorts of confusion. This was solved by only using the device in wired mode

- This barcode reader struggles to read anything that gathers a little moisture over it such as soda cans and plastic bottle pulled out of a refrigerator. My previous reader did not have this issue at all. And I am not talking about a label that is really frosted over.

- If the barcode has any design contrast from manufacturers like pepsi or coke who sometimes...

Amazon Customer: Instructions were not helpful. Synching the scanner was not possible according to instructions.
Once it became synched, the scanner worked great and bypassed the software requirements for my specific program.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer:  Very happy for purchasing this 2D barcode scanner. Have no problem for use so far. Just plug the receiver in the USB port and follow the manual to choose different scanning modes.  It's perfectly compatible with my computer and scan the merchandise very fast and accurate. I use the  continuing mode most times, the stand they sent extra is helpful to free my hands.
Did a test to scan the smudged and even very small codes and it's responsive as advertised. Will definitely buy more for my business.
