I'd bought some replacement Tenergy cells about 5 years ago, which worked well but were starting to fade. I decided to get the same again, based partly on their low self-discharge claim. So far, so good: they keep the phone running for days, vs. hours with the old cells. Price is quite reasonable. The main downside: you have to buy four. (But we do have a spare phone, and they take 2 cells each....)

GeekGuy&Gal: So far, all Tenergy products I've used have rated 4 to 5 stars.
These AAAs work fine so far in remote controls and LED flashlights.
They don't seem to last quite as long as a regular non-rechargeable (disposable) alkaline AAA, but it's not a problem.
Would buy more Tenergy batteries in future.

Hani: These work as well as the LSD 9V batteries from Tenergy, they hold their charge over a longer period of time and are perfect for remote controls

JJ: I did a lot of research into rechargeable batteries and these Tenergy were the best overall, in terms of performance and price. From what I've read, they seem to be on par with Everloop and better than Rayovac. So far, my experience with them have been excellent and I'm glad I chose this brand. The cost is good, so I'll be able to get more batteries for the money. My plan is to switch my most important and demanding devices over to rechargeable, but I also got a charger that can recharge regular alkaline batteries too, and will use those in lower drain devices, like remotes, and small LED flashlights. These Tenergy are the perfect match for my new Maximal Power FC999 Universal Rapid Charger for Alkaline, RAM, Ni-MH, Ni-CD, AA, AAA, C, D, N, 9V Batteries . Really glad I found these and will definitely be back for more as I slowly build up my rechargeable stock. Planning on getting D size next. Good deal for a LSD battery. Coupled with my nice new charger, my transfer to rechargeables has been a pleasant one thus far. Happy! :oD

Lynn V.: In spite of Centura's advertised similarity to Eneloop, Centura has a significantly higher self-discharge rate. I'd rate these batteries at about 4.3 stars (Price...5 stars, Capacity...5, Self discharge rate...3.) If they didn't advertise these batteries as retaining 90% capacity at 6 months and 85% at 1 year, I'd have given them 5 stars since they are a good value in an LSD. However, since they have a higher discharge rate than advertised (I'd say no better than average for a LSD), can't do it.
I've pretty much replaced all alkaline batteries with NiMH LSD. Most devices use AAs...cameras, flashlights, GPS, wireless devices etc. and they're loaded with the older Rayovac Hybrids and Eneloops. Have a couple which use AAA and they have Hybrids. When I saw the $5 price of 4 Tenergy Centura AAAs and the advertised comparison to Eneloop (generally considered the best LSD available), I couldn't resist a purchase to test and keep them as a backup.
As were previous reviewers, I also was impressed with initial capacity which was well above the 800 mAh rating. After a couple of discharge/recharge cycles on a LaCrosse BC-9009 at a 100 mA discharge rate, they yielded a capacity...

Anonymous post: Have ordered a few of these a couple of times. Work great, had one bad battery in last batch but Amazon adjusted the charge to compensate. I will order more when I need another set.
