Bruce BoyesBruce Boyes: Much better than the clear clamshell boxes which break and spill batteries! These seem designed to insert the battery with the + end first. Unclear why 'water resistance' is a review option. These seem plenty sturdy. I bought different colors for AA vs AAA.

Herb: I have the CR123, AA, and AAA battery holders and it is easy to pick out which one I need, I just made sure the color was the same for each different size battery caddy.
They are also great for travel. And they should last for a long time.
