RJ: I've grown to trust the Tenergy brand so when I needed to get another batch of 9v batteries I went in this direction. The batteries came in with a 8.47v charge and after putting them in the charger had a 9.7v reading. I'll post any updates if necessary, but so far the batteries are holding as expected.

f8ldzz: I actually bought these things by accident - I was looking for regular, non-rechargeable 9V batteries.
I found out there were rechargeable once I opened the package.
Because they were basically useless by themselves, I did end up buying the Tenergy 9V charger soon after.
I own a number of DMM's, automotive analyzers, and smoke detectors now, so having these batteries is handy - being able to swap them out right away is a big plus!
They last surprisingly long, so in the end, you save money!

Ed Bigshaft: Installed it on my smoke detectors as the regular batteries don't work as the smoke detectors keeps chirping. After installation it chirped twice then went silenced. Good thing its rechargeable.

R. Taylor: Before being put in a position to have to purchase rechargeable batteries we'd toyed with the idea with no real intention of actually jumping in and making this investment, we were wary about such an unknown and unpublished/unreviewed product.

Well, in 2010 I was in an auto accident which left me with a lovely permanent nerve/back injury and I was prescribed a T.E.N.S. Unit for the pain, which works fantastically, but EATS BATTERIES like there is no tomorrow.. so, I began researching rechargeable batteries, 9V specifically which is difficult to purchase in the stores by the way (go Amazon!, you always come through for us), and really couldn't find any concrete evidence that they were better than the consumable batteries.

SO, if you're toying with the idea, and teetering on the ledge of making this kind of investment and have any gadget that's eating your batteries I'll gladly push you off the battery buying cliff and tell you these are absolutely better than I'd ever expected. The Charge actually lasts longer than the standard run of the mill Energizer (consumable) and the standard Duracell (consumable), when you run low drop 'em back up on the charger and you're...
