Temperature-Adjustable Electric Gooseneck Pour-Over Kettle

Ryan: Loved the style, including the minimalistic base plate. Very clean when it's off, and when it's on super easy to read and also looks great in our kitchen.

Kettle itself feels high quality, handle design fits comfortably and has good ergonomics.

We're using it predominantly to heat up water for formula and it works great. I double checked the temperature after heating and it was within one degree Fahrenheit of the set temp and the actual water temp listed on the LCD screen. There was one time where the kettle overshot when warming but the LCD screen did read the correct water temperature and so we knew to wait.

The keep warm function allows us to start warming up water when we have a moment and then keeps it warm until we're ready. Also handy feature for one of our guests who likes to have hot water available for tea and beverages throughout the day.

Very quickly gets water to temperature. Almost no wait time. Much faster than boiling on the stove.

Overall, very happy with purchase so far. Will update if any changes. Would recommend.

Kakistocrat: I bought this to replace my Oxo electric gooseneck kettle after the handle started to come loose and I actually like it better, which is saying a lot considering the general quality of Oxo products.

After shopping around a bit, this was one of the only 1L electric gooseneck kettles I could find that wasn't astronomically expensive, so I decided to give it a try. Amazon had multiple coupons that I was able to apply towards this purchase to bring the price down even further.

Aesthetic: The kettle looks great on the countertop. The matte-black finish and round handle give it a look of subdued elegance. The base is a large matte-black square with rounded corners. The display is bright and easy to read, and goes black when not in use.

Quality: I haven't had it for very long, but so far it feels light yet sturdy, with no play in the handle or the gooseneck, and no leaks. The base is large and sturdy. The lid is small and light with a silicone gasket that makes it easy to pop on and off with one hand, yet remains securely in place when pouring.
