TEKTON 3-Piece Malleable Iron C-Clamp Set

M. B.: At last, some reasonable priced c clamps that work, are not wobbly, misaligned, rusty or flimsy! It’s a miracle!
These feel nice to handle with a smooth painted finish and silver plated screw shaft, handle and foot, I am unsure what the plating is, but it looks ok and doesn’t rust :-) the thing that impresses me most about these is the threading in the body and on the threaded part of the clamps match each other nicely and are not loose with heaps of play and the moving foot is cantered on the fixed one when closed up!
The rod really wants some small lubricant on it, I am unsure if dry lube or oil or grease will work best, I am going to try dry powder lubes first as these will not attract dust and debris and won’t accidentally get grease on my work. They work ok as they are, but would benefit form some kind of lube I feel.
These are such a ray of sunshine next to all my other clamps, I will definitely be buying more, please keep it up Tekton :-)

IS: Good clamps. Only used the 3" one for pressing the caliper pistons for the brake job I did on my WRX.

NaeAmaze: All works as they should, I love the value for the money (the price for all 3), but, the smallest one is pretty much useless, thickness isnt enough to hold anything really. If only it comes in 1 big size, and 2 of the medium sizes, I would give 5 stars.

Tor: Currently holding up a windows that lost support in my Jeep. If they fall down I will change my review, but the small size actually helped me. 4/5 good for ghetto repairs.

SonnyK: Primarily use these to hold two glued objects together. Have young children so gluing back items is a common occurrence. It is metal contact, so if you do not want any type of marring buy those pistol grip clamps. They are significantly more and offer greater flexibility, but you get what you pay for. Otherwise these do a fine job a great majority of the time.

greg: Great choice if you want some cheap clamps. Be aware they arn't as smooth as expensive clamps and will mar anything softer they are clamped on like wood or plastic. So if you are worried about that either slip something in to protect the item or buy a more expensive clamp.

Z Ack: Strong.. Useful.. I used the 1" to hold my car down while i dyno'd it.. Also used the 2" on trailer hitch for towing my mobile home, made it 709 miles with no problems.. But the 3" broke when i screwed it on my big toe.. Gottem dem strong toe.. Dat y Day call me strong toe, i be slappin dem ho wid my big stank toe... Hoodyhoo.....
