Bish Bish's Tear Mender Fabric and Leather Cement is the best fabric adhesive on the market. It offers superior adhesion, a wide range of colors, and unbeatable convenience. Our customers rave about the overall satisfaction they get from this product, making it a must-have for any fabric or leather project.Ian Azrikan: Have used this product to repair everything from clothing seams to leather furniture tears to convertible top rips. Even reattached the zipper track on a guitar gig bag. It works quickly and (so far) permanently. Be aware that it will show through thin materials, and is not totally clear when dry.

scrooster: I've used it to repair a torn leather seat in my wife's Lexus, a torn leather foot stool, a torn back pack, a torn fabric pair of my favorite hunting pants, a torn bill on my favorite boating cap ... the possibilities are endless. I swear I think you could repair skin with this stuff, it reseals every kind of tear imaginable and it holds!

Marilyn: The first two bottles worked like a dream!! I loved it was so easy to use and drys so fast and makes short work of several projects for me. The third bottle I ordered for an outdoor project that I was doing. I was so happy to get it because the weather happened to be decent to work outside in but the bottle was all set up. I could not get anything out of it so I decided to cut the bottle open hoping It was just plugged but it was all stuck together and was not usable at all. I contacted the seller and they had me send it in postage free and credited my account. Then I went out and bought some locally and the bottle was half the size and twice the amount of money but it was all liquid and I was able to finish my project in no time. Otherwise, I would have given this all 5 stars.

Moto Noir:
If, like me, you have a vinyl or fabric gazebo / pergola roof, and if, like me, you get 10 foot tears in it because of the windy season, and if, like me, you look at those expensive little patch kits and laugh hysterically, buy this.
Joann Fabrics sells an item off the roll called duck cloth in about 4 colors. Cut a piece about 3" wider than the tear area. Working from above, on a ladder or steps, add glue to one edge of your patch, press and hold. Dries firm in only 4 minutes! Repeat for the other 3 sides, one at a time. You now have a repaired tear, but probably some hanging fabric or shreds below. Working from underneath, apply to the hanging material and push up and back into place.
You now have a double strength repair. 65mph winds came along the next week, fabric flexed and held like a beauty.
Your only problem is probably 'do I hate that the fabric doesn't exactly match the color of the roof'.
Pros: Super strong, dries fast so you can progress to the next step without waiting.
Cons: very runny. Example, you can't really apply and then take something up a ladder, it'll run off. Nor can you apply it easily overhead....

E.F.E.F.: I purchased this adhesive to repair the leather dashboard in my jeep Grand Cherokee because it was bubbling up and delaminating again. Someone online recommended Tear Mender and this product works great for my purposes.
Keep in mind that I did not have the luxury of access to the actual leather surface and had to use 23 gauge syringes filled with Tear Mender leather adhesive to inject the glue below the surface of the leather. While it was tedious, and I went through a bottle of Tear Mender and about 10 syringes, I was able to substantially improve the appearance of my dashboard by working in small sections at a time. The adhesive was a perfect consistency to fit in the syringe, and would dry fairly quickly to the point that I only had to hold the leather surface down for a couple minutes until it held. I kept paper towels and a toothbrush handy for situations where the adhesive would come through the seams and stitching. I had a couple accidents where the adhesive came out of the seams, but I was able to quickly wipe it clean with a paper towel. Once dried, it resembled the consistency of rubber cement and I was able to brush away any...
