Robert M. Seater: This bag has several pockets that can be closed/sealed, and the main compartment is plenty big. That exactly what I want in a briefcase, which is surprisingly hard to find. This bag is great. I recommend the larger of the two sizes (17 inches) for carrying paper and other things without them getting too cramped.

Also, the bag itself is not too heavy. It doesn't have unnecessary padding and bulk.

Fenway1222: I bought this laptop bag out of necessity. I bought two previously and returned both right after I took them out of the package. This bag is a great size. Not too big. I am 5'1" and did not want a bag that was oversized. This one holds my laptop, a couple file folders filled with paperwork, the charger, my cell phone, my wrist wallet and my portable scanner. I bought this a few months ago but waited to see the quality before writing a review. The handle are holding up well, no signs of loose stitching, etc. I am on the go from work place to work place so the bag goes in and out of my car a few times a day. It has survived dropping of the passenger seat to the floor, being place on top and along side of groceries and other items. All the time my laptop and accessories stayed protected. I recommend this laptop bag.
