Zero Signal: I'll apologize in advance for the length of this review, but it might help someone like me who had specific needs for a bag.
I bought this as a laptop/equipment bag for when I visit customer sites. As such, it had to fill two separate needs:
A carry-on bag for when I fly, and a briefcase-like bag. Aside from a laptop and its power brick, I usually carry a tablet, PPE (gloves/glasses/high-viz vest, etc.), pads, pencils, a small point-n-shoot camera, some protein bars, a small first aid kit for cuts and scrapes, miscellaneous documents, and a 32 oz. Nalgene bottle.
My first foray into getting organized was a Sechunk Vintage Canvas Military Messenger bag. It's fairly durable, has lots of room and looks good, but it just doesn't have enough pockets or internal organization for what I need. It works better as a dump bag for a day trip. After screwing around trying to add accessory pouches to the shoulder strap, I finally admitted defeat and started looking around for something that would actually work without being a kludgy mess.
After looking at about a zillion MOLLE shoulder bags, briefcases, and messenger bags, I saw the LA Police Gear bailout bag. I then saw...

Blender85: I purchased this as I was looking for a more robust, versatile computer and equipment bag to replace the cheaply made laptop bags on the market. I didn't want to break the bank, and already own the standard size LAPG Bail Out Bag, so I figured I would give this a try. I am an insurance field adjuster and work most of my ours from my van, never know what I will encounter from one claim to the next, so I needed something that can carry my "mobile office" wherever I need it, regardless of weather.
I can carry my 13.5" laptop, plus oversized 16" clipboard, note pads, cables, first aid kit, masks, flashlights, gloves, pens, mouse, tape measures, laser, and a few other things. The pockets are everywhere!
I read lots of comments about how this was almost too large, and was a little worried it might be more of a duffle bag than I needed, but figured I'd risk it. I am pleasantly surprised! Yes, it is larger than the other BOB, but not overwhelmingly so. It's definitely NOT "duffle-ish". Much more of a heavy duty messenger bag. The internal divider is stiff, and stays put once I set it in place and protects my laptop perfectly. The straps are solid, nice padding on the...

Kindle Customer: I just got this yesterday and will likely return it but that's mainly because it's not quite the right fit for what I want to use it for, BUT it does seem to be a very well made and thought out bag.
I love it's got a ton of pockets - both inside and outside the bag. I currently use a small zip bag to keep all my small EDC items together so they don't get lost in my bag. With all the pockets this bag has - everything would have a home which would free up the internal space. One thing I'm not a fan of is the velcro for the pockets. It's not a small strip but a large strip that really secures the pockets, but I'm more a zipper/snap person as they are much quieter to open.
I love it's got an exterior water bottle holder for easy access. The bag I'm looking to replace has a webbed pocket Inside the bag which is a pain to get to and takes away from the space inside, so I really do like this feature as I carry a water bottle pretty much everywhere.
The opening is a bit narrow/awkward to get into and I'm looking for something that opens up pretty wide so I don't need to dig around for stuff. With this having pockets on the inside, I would want this to open up more so...
