The Kerr's: The spoon part is smallish and pretty shallow and the fork part is also smallish and with blunted tines. Haven't used the knife part, but it probably is ok for some things. It is also kind of messy when you are using it for both a spoon and a fork. But this being said it also works when you need both and don't want to have to deal more than one utensil. They are a good addition to my silverware drawer for certain item so worth buying.

Heather P: We broke 2 plastic sporks on our last canoe trip, so I bought these to try. They're great! Well made, strong and durable. The 'knife' side of the fork works well for cutting (we cut some hot dogs and sausages). The only downside, and it's not really a big deal, is they are a little heavy when all 5 are in the case. Well priced, would recommend over plastic ones for sure.

A. Person: I'm really happy I found these and got them. The set is very nice. I thought maybe they'd be a bit awkward to use but no, they're perfect for camping, outings, making sure you have a set for you and the kids at the reunion, etc. It's stainless so there's not much you can do to ruin them. The knife-edge part isn't really as sharp as a butter knife, or at all, but still functional. I still have mine in the little pouch, with the p-38 style opener (it's actually easier for my arthritic hands to hold this than an actual p-38) and a few extra MRE spoons. :)

Well, maybe if you are using them as a prybar but for normal eating, I found they are quite sturdy and hold up just fine. He also said "they came with a small can/bottle opener. I've not tried it yet, & don't think I will because it looks quite dangerous to use" Really??? I take it you are of the generation that is use to an electric can opener? This in fact works very well, reminds me of the US Army standard issue P-51 can opener but more robust, looks like it will last longer. All in all, I am quite happy with these, I have more than I needed (only wanted 2, got 5) so I have some backups and for the price, I believe this is the best set I have found.
