Jim R: Measured exactly 50 grams with a 50 gram test weight I received with a different scale, and pouring water into a measuring cup has nearly exact correspondence between grams and milliliters of water from 50 to 500 mL. Excellent scale.

HTHT: Love this scale! It did take a couple weeks to arrive, but it’s worth the wait. It’s primary purpose in our house is to weigh coffee beans. My husband is very particular with making coffee and needs to weigh the beans and water for each step of the process. He was looking specifically for a scale that would measure to the tenth place, since cheaper scales tend to not have any decimal places. We tried a couple that were $10-12 from amazon, and I’ll say the Japanese one is much better quality than the various options from China. Those ones lasted a handful of months, but I have a feeling this will last a much longer time. We’ve had it for 2.5 months now. It’s nice looking too!
