Mat Flesner: I got these for compost tea and they've work well. I use 2 per tea and split the goodies over each air stone on either side of my bucket.

Added bonus, I also tried putting these over outside tomatoes, just as a test - as I have demonic squirrels who eat everything. Despite my lack of confidence and faith, it's worked out pretty well and I haven't lost any of the ones I put in the bags. I put the bag over the tomato/bunch while green and then I can pick them when I'm ready. I don't even tie a "knot" I just do one loop and it works.

Heaven: I was hesitant at first to buy these. In the past id buy similar and the tea or coffee grounds would literally seep right through. So far, I have used this item for both coffee grinds and loose tea as well as fresh grown mint leaves- and there has been nothing seeping through or getting into the water. I’m pretty impressed, and thankful to finally find something that works! Thank you!

Ounwanted1Ounwanted1: They are a little too small to use a teaspoon to fill with tea, but are a nice size for single servings of tea or herbs. Can be used as a spice bag to put into sauces, just make sure to tie them so that the herbs/spices don't come out. Perfect for my other use of putting Damask rose buds in them for drawers and under pillows for guest, or just where you want to have a nice fragrance with other scented herbs and flowers. You can even put one in your purse to make it smell devine, or in a pocket in a dress or a suit for an all day/night fresh smell. Also nice to put jewellery and other small items.
