GaylanGaylan: The griddle is great UNTIL you need to replace a part. The knob is plastic and after awhile it broke, and we are unable to use the griddle. We reached out to the manufacturer and was told to buy a new thermostat. Although we don't need a thermostat, only a plastic knob, we never heard again from the seller. So, now we have an expensive griddle that we can't use, and an unresponsive seller who apparently doesn't care. We would recommend the griddle, so long as replacement parts are not needed.

Eric N. Greaux: This griddle is nice and heavy, well made but nothing fancy. The important things is that it gets very hot and maintains its temperature very well even when loaded up with cold meat. The black stone electric goes cold as soon as you put anything on it. This griddle just works. It has some sharp edges so be careful (wear gloves) and the grease tray fell apart from my rough handling of it in the box. I put it back together with some two sided tap so no big deal.

Rick J: I don't write many reviews anymore but I had to write one for this. I've now had this long enough to have made at least 60 meals on it. It is the BEST griddle I have ever had! Nice surface size and heat control. Once this is seasoned use just a tiny bit if oil with what ever you are cooking and the food will not stick. Temp control is is good but if you aren't familiar with Centrigrade you will need to learn. It's easy enough to figure out what get cooks where on the dial though.

There is a downside but not to bad. There are some sharp corners and sides on it. Like I've cut myself twice sharp. A fine grain sandpaper will blunt this right up. It's also kind of heavy.

All and all its a great flat top that is pretty easy to use and clean.

Brian Millar: It's the perfect experience, having something that does what is in the big restaurants, but portable. I have been using it regularly for some amazing meals.

It's not the best of the best out there, it's simple and functional, it's commercial quality though and quite inexpensive compared to producing exactly the same as what you are doing on $20k units.

I am incorporating the lines into a new kind of cart for home use, office, warehouse, it's being, the commercial compliment for a flat top at the Espresso Outfitters web site. Get this grill people!

Amazon Customer: I rarely write reviews, and when I do provide feedback on an item it's almost exclusively negative. Having said that, I love this griddle. I spent 3 years in my youth working at a local fast food restaurant with a grill just like this one, but larger, and this one performs the same. I checked many reviews and models before I chose it, and I'm very glad I did.

Beware that because It cooks like the pro models it needs to be cleaned like a pro model. Be prepared to get a good grill scraper. I would also get grill screens to keep it clean. I got a pack and they make it look like new (just like when I was a kid.) requiring just a bit of oil and some elbow grease.

One of my concerns when comparing models was electrical use. Quite a few reviews of models complained of needed 30 amp breakers or they would pop the circuit. Really restaurant models. This one operates in my home kitchen with no issues so far and cooks beautifully. The temp knob is in C. Not a big deal to figure out the temp. I actually got an 8 dollar grill top thermometer that works great.
