Laura Tuttle: I like this mat, it’s a nice quality. Keeps my carpet dry from the cats water and food bowls. Although, I bought the 18 x 12 inch and I feel like it’s small, think the size of a table place mat. I wish I would have gotten one bigger but I guess that’s my fault. I do like that it’s rubber instead of plastic but i think it would be better if the rubber was thicker and less floppy. Not really an issue with the product, maybe I should have read more reviews. (I’m commenting this bc when I go to clean the mat the food and water falls off on the floor bc the mat is as pliable- as a thick piece of thick fabric. So then I have to clean the floor too). Good product, just some things to know.

cat_mom90210cat_mom90210: This mat does it’s job and is non slip but it’s so small lol. That is my 13 pound n change 4y old cat on it. That’s their food bowls I can’t place the water bowl on it or it’s crammed together and then food drops into the water. I’d definitely go larger than you may think you need. I originally got this for my medium breed dog (who’s on the smaller end of that) but only 1 of her bowls fit on it so I used it as her water bowl mat. I no longer have her and my puppy is a chewer, so the cats use it now. For 1 cat this “large” size is great or for a toy breed dog but anything bigger and it’s pointless.

Gspluvr: I actually brought this to use in my guinea pigs house for when she is outside romping and grazing ,I place this on the bottom if her house and then place care fresh onto to help prevent urine from seeping in the wood floor of her house . I had one for years not this brand but I miss placed over the winter since in winter she does not go outside ,so I went in Amazon to find another one and seen this and for the price I got it ,it is thinner and longer so did not work for what I intended it for ,so I gave to a neighbor to use for her cat ,she likes it but again thin and does not hold up to spills of water well but does help keep bowl from sliding ,so it worked out for something.
