Pauline Shenton: These are excellent cutters. Cut through thick branches. The only downside is that they are quite heavy, so prolonged use is hard work. I've had them for a while now and they've been well used. Still as sharp as ever.

Susan M Mitchell: Let me preface this by saying I am a small woman. While this loppers may cut through 2 inches “effortlessly”, for someone my size it’s more like an inch and considerable effort. These are not lightweight so the combo of holding them and cutting wore my arms out pretty quickly. But they still cut far better than my old ones and I could move along well cutting smaller branches.
