I cut off yucca plant stems (which should have been cut off months ago.). I cut off pesky sweet gum seedings that were 4 feet tall. Never a strain on my wrists or arms.

Steven Tory: Like most Fiskar's products, this is well made. A power pruner, for about 2-3 times the cost, does a better job. But if you only have a few branches, this would be a good choice.

Alvena Stanfield: Highly recommend this lopper. Weeds turned into trees along the lot line. Cut limbs as thick as promised without a problem. Thicker limbs, about 2 inches or more were too thick for them. But they cut way better than I had expected.

busybee2: I purchased these loppers to prune my juniper bush, but I have used this to cut crape myrtle branches, firethorn branches, thuja, and some evergreen branches. It's so easy to use and makes cutting the branches like cutting butter. The extendable handle allows me to reach really tall branches and those branches in hard-to-reach areas where I can't get close to them. I used to use garden shears or hedge clippers, but this is so much easier. The handles are easy to lock in place. I've definitely gotten my money's worth from these. Definitely a must-have tool for anyone with trees or bushes in their yard.

Nikki T: The media could not be loaded. Got these for my mum who is an avid gardener but has carpal tunnel syndrome in her wrists, so she struggles to prune the larger trees and bushes around her home. The product is incredibly lightweight, and she powered through pruning a whole Oleander tree by herself so I'm very happy with the purchase. The blade seems to be made out of some type of plastic feeling material which seems to be non-stick and easy to clean, but also super sharp . Seems to be great quality and I would buy again.

John Keen: I used this pruner regularly. One day while cutting a branch the handle broke. I wrote Fiskars, but they ignored me. I eventually gave up and bought another because it is so small I can put it in my back pocket. I will be very careful in the future, however, these will not hold-up to heavier use (one inch branch is enough). It has limited use, but that is OK, I have a larger pair for anything over 1 inch. The arms of the pruner are just plastic, and not stout. Long story, short, is that I ended-up buying a new pair for light jobs out in the yard.
