Syneticusa Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover: Perfect Fit for 2009-2020 Ram 1500 Trucks

Mark: I really do love this cover. I had a previous version and lived it as well. This one seems to be about a half inch to short. I did adjust it to the rear tailgate as specified but when in high wind areas, I live in Southern Arizona, it creates a buffing sound, like it's bouncing, it's really loud.

The second picture in my review was taken not even a year after the initial install of the cover. My bed is absolutely full of water. The drainage tubing is not redirecting flow out of the cover housing it is just holding the water in and springing out of any way it can find to get out. You get what you pay for I guess.

2022- I installed this on my 2019 Ram 1500 Bighorn. It took me just under 2 hours to install and I was able to do it solo, although having a second set of hands would definitely be better. The directions were easy to follow and watching the video link they provide the night before really made the process easy. The cover feels like it is made from high quality materials. My only complaint is that the rear drain hole locations on the cover is placed about an inch to close to the end of the bed, this is because the frame bulges out near the tailgate and once the cover is mounted it is hard to get the screw caps back on once the hoses are in.

The profile is slim on top which is great as I intend on mounting bed bars and it appears I still have plenty of room to do so.

CWCW: Product arrived with minor cosmetic damage. One dent in one of the bars and another that looks like it was filled in with bondo on the edge. Some might have issues with this but I know it will get beat up on my truck anyways. On the more expensive covers they have ball bearings in the rails which make it slide a lot smoother. This one isn’t bad considering it doesn’t have those. Seems fairly waterproof so far, as long as you seal it right by the cab and the tailgate. I doubt it will last as long as other brands but it is priced right.

nigdagepnigdagep: UPDATE: READ IF YOU HAVE MISSING PARTS.... DO NOT THROW YOUR BOX. I got a call back and the "missing parts" are in a small box under what looks like a filler piece of cardboard. Look at my photos they are from the company. The guy said the manufacturer places them there and he doesn't know why they decided to do that. I changed from 1 star to 5.

Installed this cover to find I have missing parts. Specifically the drain tube screws that hold in place the clear drain tubes located at the bottom/under the canister. I only have holes where there should be tube attachments. I have sent 2 messages to the seller with no response and called both numbers provided on the paper work. Left a message and no one has called me back. This is unacceptable. I would not recommend this company EVER!!!

Dmart375: I bought this for a road trip to secure things in the bed without high expectations as I have only used a hard shell cover on my previous trucks. I was surprised by the build quality and the finished fit on once installed. Unlike other options, you can go from fully covered and secured to uncovered and ready to haul in seconds. It is easy to secure in the open or closed position so that you can still have full use of the open bed for hauling larger loads, etc. Only negative would be that the instructions were not that intuitive, but luckily they posted a short video on the purchase page, though no reference of this in any of the literature. Its mostly a one person install except for lifting the assembly into the bed. Other than that, happy I found it.
