SADSAD: The hot dog roller is a very nice unit that I bought for gatherings with friends at our lake cabin. It came in two separate boxes and the glass cover was packaged very well so that it would not break i nshipment. The instructions were not very detailed on how to assemble the glass top but using the pictures on Amazon I easily figured out how to assemble it, plus it even came with a couple extra bolts and nuts. To help others I have included a few closeup pictures for reference. The unit heated up to 150° C in about 6 minutes and to 250° C in 12 minutes. The rollers will hold 18 normal sized hot dogs and it took 12 minutes to cook my dogs with the temperature set at 250° C. The removable pan underneath the rollers made cleanup of the drippings very easy. After the rollers cooled down I just wiped them off while they were turning with the temperature turned down. Overall, this hot dog roller will be a novelty at our gatherings and will make some delicious hot dogs for our guests.

wannabe perfectionist 💬wannabe perfectionist 💬: It's now getting warmer in NY and my son and daughter loves to invite their close friends during the weekend to have play dates in the backyard, playing basketball and jumping on a trampoline. We usually order pizza for lunch but sometimes I would grill hot dogs and burgers but it takes much more time and effort on my end. I then saw this SYBO hot dog roller at my church during community bazaar where we sold food, including hot dogs, to raise money for good cause. The hot dog sale was hot that day, thanks to this roller that kept hot goes cooked and warm, ready to be served to the customers. Even with 18 hot dogs on the roller, we couldn't keep up with the demand. At the end of the day, one of the staff members said we might need another hot dog roller for next year so we can have one for keeping 18 hot dogs warm while the other one is cooking a fresh batch of 18 hot dogs. I volunteered to get this hot dog roller since I can use it at home when my kids have friends over for backyard parties then bring it during next year's bazaar to be used for that day, along side the one owned by the church.

The glass hood cover is nice but I don't think you really need it unless you are...

KK: The media could not be loaded.  Wow, just wow! This gave the perfect grilled hot dog flavor I was looking for like I get on the backwoods gas station doggies that are just so gloriously cheap and delicious! It was actually really easy to put together since it didn't come in many parts and it was as easy to use as plug it in and pop those babies on and let them do their own thing. It was nice that there was two separate temperature zones too so that the weirdos in the house that like theirs crispy and almost dead can have it done their way, and my perfectly cooked skins with a crunch can be different than theirs. Meets everyone's needs for sure.

It's all easy to clean too. The drip tray is removable and catches just about everything. The rollers and glass hood all cleaned up easy too. There wasn't a lot of parts and pieces to have to mess around with the make it work or keep it cleaned up, a thing I appreciated when using it for our youngest twos birthday party. My hubby was all confused why I wanted one of these instead of just doing traditional grilling, but I found this makes perfectly evenly cooked hot dogs that don't have charcoal taste either when my old man has...

Sandy: This item is nearly identical to the Olde Midway Pro 18 I used every day for the past 3 years, grilling hot dogs in my sandwich shop. It started making grunting sounds and stopped turning. The motor seized up and I had to replace it. This appears to be a less expensive generic version, no labels or product name tags. The knobs are in Celcius. I cook on the rear rollers at about 150 C, which is 300 F, then move to the front rollers on a low temperature to keep warm. It will fit 18 of 6 inch hot dogs.

Maintenance tip: turn to low temp and clean rollers as they turn. Silicone rings at the end of rollers can be moved inward to better clean the edges. You can use cooking oil to lubricate there. The left bottom panel can be removed to expose the sprockets and chain. The chain can be lubed with chain oil.
