Kindle Customer: I am a big baby. I held it to my ear for a couple minutes before I gathered the courage to do it. Honestly, it was not painful at all. I ended up doing two holes on each lobe and one in the cartilege. Had to press a little harder for the cartilege one, but it was not painful. Waaaaaay better than going to a piercing shop and paying $35 per hole! How the heck more people don't know about this is beyond me.

Always need something: I was delaying re-piercing a hole that had closed because I couldn't be bothered to go to a shop. Finally bought this and five minutes after it arrived, i had a new hole with really no pain. The earrings are comfortable (though a little big) and if my sensitive ear ever gets irritated by different earrings, i just go back to these for a few days and let it heal.
