GiGi Gomes: Works well for me. Provides good light, I can push it out of the way when I don’t need it, I can bring it down low if I need to, doesn’t take up any table space (I use the table clamp). The only thing I wish I could do is angle the light away. It goes straight up and down but doesn’t tilt. You can swivel it away, but can’t change the angle of the light.

NanC: I bought two for task lighting in my stoned glass work space to supplement a more expensive one a friend gave me. These are better and have replaced the gift! The clamp does not do damage to the surface of any table it is attached to and the light is adjustable between tones and brightness. The control is well positioned on the cord. The light is long so less of a spot light effect and brightens a larger work area. And let’s face it it is inexpensive compared to its competitors.

Reamo: This is a useful LED lamp and welcome addition to my small portable desk. The two spring loaded arms with table C-Clamp is a tried and true design. This lamp sports three lamp modes (warm light, warm white and white light) with 10 brightness settings for each. Was easy to un-box and setup. I use it pretty much every day/night. It is a good value at this price point ($24.99) and suites my needs.

There are a couple things you might want to consider. 1) The lamp will rotate about its axis (360 degs), will pivot up and down (225 degs) but, wont pivot sideways so there is no way to keep it parallel to your desk. Keep this in mind if it matters to you. 2) You do need to have a wall plug or USB power nearby; in my case I use this lamp on a wheeled/portable table so I added a USB extension to accommodate some mobility. 3) The C-Clamp is a little wimpy, don’t be hard on it and it will serve you well. 4) The “Button Switch Control” is part of the cord; you might want to tape or bond it to a surface for easy access.
